Here's the Energia with Buran. This set is with the Energia from Project Energia. The Buran 4.8 is from David.

And here at separation.

Now compare this Energia with the one from the packaged Buran 4.8. I think I like the particle streams of this one better.

I'm trying to figure how I can transfer the particle properties from David's to the one for Project Energia. But that one (project Energia one) is written in a dll kind and don't have anything textwise that's simple to transfer over.

When two airplanes almost collide, they call it a 'near miss.'

What's it called when a spaceplane and a rocket almost collide?

Time to change your pants...

Isn't a "near miss" by definition a "hit"? And the amount of paperwork is the same anyways...

edit -

Youtube is blocked at work, so... I couldn't even see what that video was. Carlin was such a genius at wordplay.

You can't even imagine, what kind of paperwork you experience, when a "near miss" crosses the border to the "distant hit". A UN committee has been created already to discuss if this is torture or only life-long work camp internment.

One morning at Krayniy, in the early 80's. A Mig-31 is getting ready for taxi.

Edit : ooops, the Antonovs behind have the Russian Federation Flag on their tail, so it would be rather "One morning at Krayniy, in the early 90's. A Mig-31 is getting ready for taxi." (they didn't have time/money to repaint the Mig-31) :)
