Orbiter Screenshot Thread

I was thinking along the lines of an infrared image of the XR-2.

EDIT: Come to think of it, it actually looks like it's being filmed on an early 1960's TV camera.

Slowly drifting westwards to reach the wanted GEO position... Will be there in maybe 30 days or so :coffee:

"I hate this part. They could buy an elevator..."

Seriously, I'll probably have to make some .dll "siege tower" to access the airlock :hmm:

TurboPacks require some reflexes when you aim such a small (tri-dimensional) target...

"OOoops, I forgot the landing gear again !!"

EVA Outside Discovery

Enjoying the view after my first successful Launch, and Rndz with the ISS while using my own senario file. Learning Orbiter :)

Callisto Base

Thank you :). Made my first flight to Jupiter's moon, Callisto today. Unloaded and built a small UCGO base. Nothing special, but hey I was proud. :tiphat: Sadly Jupiter was nowhere in view, so I had to use the Milky Way as a nice back drop.

Laugh, groan or grin, I don't care. This new feature is freaking sweet:

I tried that with Orbiter 2010 (installed base, then 100721, then latest beta) and came up with this:

I'm using [ame="http://orbithangar.com/searchid.php?ID=4328"]USS Enterprise A, NCC-1701-A, Command Cruiser[/ame]. How come it's not working?

You need to have a vessel with a light defined (for instance, the modified stock deltaglider included in the new beta) shine the light onto the vessel.

Yeah. It's hard to see, but you can just make out the windows of the Deltaglider I'm using to light up the bow. Onboard running lights would be cool, but unless Spacecraft4 or someone who wants to bother doing a DLL for this is coming anytime soon, I don't see it happening.
