Orbiter Screenshot Thread

A small "accident" while coding something

Yea, my wife is gonna kill me, for spending too much time with Orbiter. :shifty:

That can be solved... we start gathering donations for buying your wife a 3 week luxury wellness cruise through the Caribbean. I have reasonable doubt she will kill you then.

I imagine, the check alone would be enough.

Okay, Orbinaut Pete, Donamy, etc., what resolution are you guys flying? I thought that my Orbiter looked decent until roaming the thread here...

Okay, as a followup, how do I get the max resolution for Orbiter to got beyond 1280x1024? My screen can support up to 1680x1050...

Just go to the "Video" tab & select 1680 x 1050 from the "Screen resolution" drop-down menu.

I think it's related to the graphics device, check that it is set on "Direct3D T&L HAL"

Just a day at the office

The work never ends for the crew of a Shuttle-A UCGO supply vessel.

1. The Earth rising ominously from the darkness of space. Taken from an Arrow freighter on her shakedown cruise in high orbit.

2. Another Arrow shakedown coming around into the light.

3. The same Arrow, rendezvousing with Aegis II carrying five additions to her crew and an experimental portable nuclear reactor before her transfer to lunar orbit. (Ignore the timestamp on the screenies: I have to keep going in and out of the program to paste them in paint.)

Just showin' off the nice effects on the Earth and Sun, and the nice-looking Arrow and DGIV-2.

EDIT: Not saying I'll get to lunar orbit, just being hopeful.
