Trying a high resolution LROC mosaic of Apollo 15's landing site.
The mountains match very well with reality, but the default elevation is inaccurate. Hadley Rille should be visible at the right of the image.
Still, it looks good!

(The actual LM base on the surface can be seen as a light spot just right of the place where I've landed ! )

A few photos of my trip through the Andes mountain range.

Hey! Where did Aconcagua go? The second highest mountain in the world, it appears a little out of place in Orbiter.

Ah! There is.

GPWS going mad?.

And then on a SCRAM ascent over Florida at sunset. I love the color of the sky on the new Orbiter and the lighting of the D3D9 Client.

A visit to the Himalayas from the Kashmir Valley.

Delta-glider GL-1 is ready on the Kashmir Valley (satellite view of the valley on the inset).Kashmir-1A.png

Its time to roll 180 degrees, with Pir Panjal Range is in view.

Ready to return on the valley.

Of course, if I had high-res tiles of Kashmir, I could not only see the Kashmir Himalayas more beautifully, but also can take off from and land to the same runway (there's a runway in Srinagar Airport). However, the valley is flat anyway.

I love atmospheric/Earth flights. Now that we have the entire Solar System with high-quality terrain elevation and graphics, the Earth is still the most beautiful jewel in Orbiter (at least for me, I don't know how to navigate between the planets, TransX MFD, etc.). The freedom to explore places with your favorite spaceship, plus the new Delta-Glider has a wonderful panoramic view in the 3D cockpit.

By the way, does anyone know of a Warp MFD for Orbiter 2016?

I really don't know how this happened, but I'm getting a very "interesting" paintjob on the DG VC :

Anyone else experienced this ? Can reproduce it with stock Orbiter 2016 or D3D9 client...
