Orbiter Screenshot Thread

Cool. I'd be happy to make an adapter for the AtlasV project I'm working on

Hm,is this a question?
If so can make it.

Cool. The idea is definitively to make that rocket a "multipurpose" launcher (as it is intended to be).

BTW your DreamChaser looks great !

My first successful trip to the moon. Personal thanks to the developers of Launch MFD and Interplanetary MFD, I've tried to do it with the stock instruments but just wasn't precise enough to pull it off with a single fuel tank.

Try LunarTransferMFD for even more convenient trips to the Moon - it's very easy to use.

Thanks to Liber for coding and mesh conversion!

Fresh install of Orbiter 2010 and the latest beta, just messing around checking my scenario had ported across when I checked on my Mars probe and caught this - It looks better than most games and thats actually a world we can LAND on and UMMU wander around. Orbiter still amazes me.

This is Delta launch control, at T-10 minutes and counting. For those who've just joined us, you're watching the launch of the MRR, the Mars Research Rover. This rover will be one of the last unmanned mission before humans will reach for the red planet. It will land at one of the proposed landing sites, checking if it's good enough for humans to land there. The rover is a copy of the MER's to save money on development.

(this is actually just a mission to keep my IMFD skills fresh. I'm planning some real-time missions for the 2014 launch window and these missions are just some missions to train me for that)

And MRR is on its way to Mars!

Since when did we go from spaceships to cars?

IIRC, that's the car Jim Lovell drove in Apollo 13.

AFAIK all Apollo astronauts had them. Look at Ken Mattingly at Apollo 13 lift off. Also Alan Bean has it for sure (I've seen it in documentary "James May on the Moon").
