SAILOR MERCURY!

If anyone's interested I'm going to do the rest of the Sailor Scouts (I think that's what they called them :p, haven't watched it since I was like 6.) and release them in a pack.

Haha that will be an awesome tour, Pyromaniac. Are you landing in any of those bodies?

Btw, what's with the big blur on Mercury's surface?

Well, to be honest I cheated since I need to brush up on my IMFD, I started the scenario landed on Mercury.
But after all the skins are done and I figure out IMFD again, I'll probably do it for real with all of them. (Although someone will probably beat me to it :p)

The blur is just a lower quality texture, not quite sure why it's there.

The first in my "Two sides of the same coin" series of XR5 skins, also my very first XR5 skin.
Not quite happy with it because of the problem in front of the cockpit, need to fix that. :(

SAILOR MARS!

I was originally going to just do the scouts, but I was thinking I should do Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Chibi Moon as well, what do you reckon?

Edit: Left Planetarium mode on.

Edit2: Fixed.

Another 4 missions flown since my last batch of screenshots - STS-106.

Since then, I've flown STS-92, 97, 98 and 102. STS-100 is in-progress.

A few pictures from each over the next couple of posts:

STS-92:

OMS-2 Burn

ISS
Scrshot9.jpg

PMA-3 and Z1 attached.
Scrshot10.jpg

Leaving the ISS.
Scrshot14.jpg

Pictures from STS-97 screwed up a bit and overwrote a load of files. As such, I don't have any from my approach to the station, all work on the station, until the undocking with the P6 attached to Z1.

Rolling inverted after the OMS-2 burn in preparation for opening the payload bay doors and doing the RMS checkout.
Scrshot25.jpg

Leaving the ISS after attaching the P6 module on top of the Z1 truss.
Scrshot1.jpg

After deorbit burn, oriented for re-entry.
Scrshot31.jpg

Lined up the runway at KSC (Yes, I know I'm landing the wrong way here!)

Okay, now this is defiantly wishful thinking.

SAILOR URANUS!
Thanks to dgatsoulis, I got this finished a lot quicker than I would have, thanks.
Coming up after the break, Sailor Neptune.

Edit: If anyone is wondering, that big white dot is Miranda.

Leaving Earth, headed for Mars I turned around to this awsome view of the Earth and the US. Some shadows on the left. Nice!

What's that thing in the cargo bay?

My one is approximately half of that. So my station would cost $4,475,000,000. Anyway, "live" EVA coverage of the Expedition 1 spacewalk:

Here is an UMMU walking on the solar panels:

After the UMMU finished waiting for Houston to finish paperwork, it started work on the cable systems:

How did you do that?

All my UMMUs seem to do is drift about aimlessly.

Relayer91, I'm just starting to fly the Shuttle and I'd like to know whether, in your opinion, it's preferable to fly it in Orbiter2006 with the FCS or in the 2010 version without the FCS.

Thanks in advance.

__________

It seems no one has shown images from the earliest versions of Orbiter. This is Orbiter 010503, available here.

You always start with the Delta Glider; there is no dialog box when you open it; there seems to be no pause button; you can't control other ships unless they are at the same base or docked at the same station (you can modify the ships' .cfg files to have them at the same place); the controls aren't as intuitive as today's.
