Alright guys, I finally got the facebook invitation to this site -- thanks whoever did that, yes I was the one with the space image. I am in no way trying to take credit for Dr. Schweiger's brilliant programming, and feel ashamed if that is what happened. By "programming," I was referring to getting the keyboard encoders for the switches and the networking set up. Orbiter is also not the only software I used, I also included a life support, etc., statistics program written by one of my friends, as I am a terrible programmer and only know visual basic. I think that the story was trying to focus on the actual simulator frame and switch boards that I used, instead of Orbiter, which I agree should have been mentioned and proper credit given to Dr. Schweiger. Like some of you have said, my work on the simpit would be nothing without Orbiter, I was just trying to make the experience more realistic and exciting for the Civil Air Patrol cadets that I work with. I want Dr. Schweiger's work to get the credit and recognition it deserves, and only now do I realize how the news piece has come across to many fellow Orbiter pilots. I hope that all of your concerns have been cleared up, and that you don't think of me as seeking credit for others' work and deliberately disrespecting the man who made all this possible.
