Magnitude is almost at -3!

Just doesn't matter, because it is only a few arcseconds away from a star with magnitude -26.74
Isn't it interesting how everyone intuitively started to call this comet ISON? Could someone predict that? (I personally hate to name it ISON. It's C/2012 S1! I don't like when words or abbreviations for something get more meanings when they don't have to.
Looking at the latest pictures, I'm going to say ISON broke apart.
I'd be very surprised if otherwise.
I'm almost certain that we've just seen it break up, note the streak and then the dimming.
Correction: The 1997 comet was named Comet Hale-Bopp.Too bad; after seeing Haley and Halle-bob I was hoping for another good comet.......just have to wait for the next one
