Am I the only one who goes :WTF: on 'liquid diamond'?

I thought diamond is a solid phase of carbon. How would liquid diamond be different from liquid graphite?

I actually had that thought too. But I was too busy trying to dispel nonsense about liquid hydrogen beings...

I always thought liquid carbon was what the gremlins poured into my rifle whenever I sit down to clean it.

Among bits and Bytes...
The only way to effectivelly mine the outer planets is to blow their "atmosphere" away and gradually reduce the pressure to the point where our mining equipment wouldn't turn into the goo, that these planets are made up of...

Though eventually we might have the technology to do that, I still wouldn't mess with anything within the solar system, until humanity abandones Earth.

until humanity abandones Earth.

And who says we're going to do that? ;)

And even if Earth becomes a wastebin or nature reserve, there may still be billions of people living in the solar system...
