Project N1 Lunar

While I am unsure as to the exact depth, I found a schematic of the hold-down ring at the base of the pad as well as the deflector directly underneath. I also found a schematic showing the supports for the ring:

As for the schematics and what not, they come from this Soviet documentary "Starting Complex of Lunar Rocket N-1 L3", and goes into extensive detail:

I actually found a better copy of the video from the original source, that contained the entire vid and doesn't cut out halfway through:

(Note: The website is in Russian, but should be very easy to figure out with the use of a browser translator/"translate page" function)

The tower is a serious bit of machinery on it's own! Working on the "roller-blades".

All main phases/vessels now have system failure simulation. And bad reentry profiles will be penalised.

Now that I've got the geometry mostly figured all I have to do is construct it(!) It makes the N1 look small, I was thinking it would be nice to have an old 60's Soviet bus and ground crew for scale.
Working on the chassis...

I think you could also add some train cars with tanks and a train near by for scale. After all, the N-1 was also rolled out horizontally, so there should be many opportunities for scaling scenery.

Mostly there with the LOK panels, screenshot time:

Still some texture work left pending further discoveries but maybe ready to integrate into the rest of the (awesome so far) VC. Will have some partial (and optional) functionality, simpler things like engine configs, module separation, alarms/warnings. Still working out Block D control. There's essentially one source for all these (attached) which is imperfect and not everything is even readable, let alone figurable, so there will be gaps and some artistic license. Been fun diving into it though and piecing together what's possible, and also the subtle differences and similarities to other contemporary hardware.

And of course there will be an English version as well as for LK.
