Hi, staticKid!

The new version of orbiter will probably be out in the next 3-4 years.

The purpose of this flight is just flying around in very deep space for fun.

How far do you want to go? It would be funny go to the closest star Proxima Centauri and go back but i think it would be a large travel.

Hi, guys!

in orbiter, I'm now 70,000 AU or 10,471,700,000,000 kilometers away from the sun and moving at the speed of 840,680 kilometers per second! I'm using the orbiter on my laptop what I'm posting about on this forum, and I'm using the space engine on the desktop PC what I'm posting about on the blog!

Cheers,
Vincent

Hi, TMac3000!

If I remember correctly I think I takeoff from Cape Kennedy shuttle landing facility runway 33 in the deltaglider IV with unlimited fuel. I lightening the deltaglider IV spacecraft then I set the fuel to unlimited fuel in the orbiter launch pad before I took off. After I took off from Cape Kennedy, I put the deltaglider IV in the ballistic (90 degrees straight up) climb. I think my deltaglider IV is in the heading of 330 degrees or north-northwest direction. I'm wondering what is the name of the star that is straight up from Cape Kennedy? Thanks!

Cheers,
Vincent
