So I guess it is possible to use this to launch the X-33? I am not sure how the ini would look like as the x-33 is the only vessel.

I'd suggest a ghost stage with transparent mesh with the engines of the x-33. If you have access to the code of the X-33 you could set the fuel level as the same of the ms2015 vessel, otherwise you have to guess the remaining fuel after the orbit insertion

yes exactly. if you use multistage vessel, then you jettison it and probably destroy it. But to know how much fuel will be left in the x-33 tanks you should know how much fuel it used to get on orbit.

yes, that's what I had in mind. And at the end of the guidance program jettison the payload and destroy/delete the ms2015 vessel (there's a guidance command for that, can't remember now the exact word)

I set the mass of the payload as 0 as it is really the launch vessel

But it fuels up but just sits on the ground not lifting up. Thrusters firing. It might be too heavy?

So can you set the length of the thrust?
Like in sc3 it has width and length

I m not sure the exponential notation of the thrust is read correctly. Try to put the explicit number. And don't put mass 0, i m afraid it will mess up the calculations, put 0.01 instead

Ah no wait. If the payload is live its mass will be acquired from the vessel. So if you put the mass of the stage equals to the mass of vstar and then add a live vstar payload above you ll have the mass of 2 vstars! You have to use empty mass of the stage at 0.01, then guess fuel distribution between sc3 and ms2015

Remember that fuel also has mass ;)

I think this is similar to the MS2015 Shuttle, where the tank is stage with a phantom main engine.

I'd to the same here and add fuel/mass to the phantom stage.
As fred mentions, zero mass tends to give trouble.

Thanks. I will try that when I get home. Need to figure how do the length of the thrust and guidance. I need it do like the shuttle that roll over and get into orbit for the ISS

kinda annoying that nothing much works anymore, no multistage, no velcro, no spacecraft, no titans, no deltas...

is something being cooked here :p ...?

basically nothing apart from ravenstar works from the popular addons in O2016.

i mean the inculded 3 test scenarios work, but nohing else, it constantly appchrashes when i try to run any addon that is dependent on it for example MS2015 titans or Soyuz...

rockets blow up, or disappear in mid air, and stages appear in weird configurations, etc...

what do you use that works with this?

I'm afraid you have to be more specific (and maybe open a separate thread as well) about your problems. MS2015 Titans works well for me, and there are multiple Soyuz add-ons, so it totally depends on which one you're using.
