I have searched everywhere i can find.
And it seems nobody has yet developed a proper background for the real nightsky.

By default orbiter only has about 3000 stars in the nightsky,
Are there any realistic backgrounds that simulates the amount of stars in a space environment, cause you can see more stars in space...

And i would also like a graphic background for the disk of the milkyway.
The default orbiter sky looks so dull and empty.
Also all star dots have nearly the same size, they differ but a true nightsky would have a greater variety in birghtness, some star dots should be brighter then others,
If it were not for the constellation lines i couldnt really have found them by myself.

Im not asking for crab nebulae's and pinwheel galaxy images,
Cause those are only visible (as shown on the preview picture background) as seen trough a telescope and i want a realistic sky background seen trough a human eye in space vaccuum.

I hope my question is clear enough...

Thanks for any help, suggestions, and/or developing processes in advance.

Sorry if this is stating the obvious but...have you tried the different background options available on your OrbiterLaunchpad "Visual Effects" tab ("Celestial Sphere" settings)?

Cheers,
