Well, the real airship doesn't land on the rear wheels. They are just for maneuvering the ship in the hangar. You would need a mooring mast vehicle to properly let the fly that way it was supposed. And when the airship has docked to the mooring mast, it is still not touching the ground until the mast height is lowered.
So, it Orbiter terms, and its possible to do in 2016, you just need to dock the zeppelin to its mooring mast.
(Also, the NT only controls its bouyancy by inflating airbags and the propellers. On a nominal flight, no Helium is valved. And it has no ballast like the older airships, only tiltable engines.)
