The texture on the bottom of the left wing is also showing inverted on the upper surface, not sure why that is, but I was curious to see if my mesh would load (made it with a text editor).

The inscription shines through the wing because of no thickness of the wing, although it has two sides. If you give some thickness to the wing (for example, extruding along normals), then the inscription will be visible only on the bottom.

It seems that it is only an issue in Blender. The textures render appropriately in Orbiter.
 
Yes, they're just displaying this way in Blender. I don't know, maybe it could be disabled in Blender.
