OHM Level 8 Triton and clouds

hey this is my third ad-on, i decided to make a L8 Triton map, since there aren't many triton ed-ons the texture is actually a L9 texture, but pltex could only compile up to L8, if you want the even higher res version, just let me nkow and ill see what i can do..

i would love it if you could rate or even comment!!

I kinda wondered that too, although Carl Sagan made it sound very chemically diverse in Pale blue dot. Maybe the author can explain?

Actually yeah, apparently it does. Incredible how the solar system can still present us with so many "strange new worlds" of its own

Triton has a very thin atmosphere like pluto.

triton does have clouds. if you land a ship on triton u can see the very thin dusty atmosphere. the clouds are probably caused by the moon's strange geysers, that spurt out organic material. there is a good clip of triton's geysers here:

before voyager flew by Triton, scientists predicted that the moon had a thick atmosphere and oceans of liquid nitrogen!!!

This offers a nice upgrade to the default Triton. Here are some before/after side-by-side images I made. Notice that the default Triton appears to have an angular horizon when you are at the 220k viewing altitude. The updated texture has a much nicer curved horizon.
