Hey guys. I know the proper launch cordinates for KSC to ISS,but what are the best instructions for launching to the ISS from Wideawake island,You know like which way the Iss is heading when to launch all that good stuff. thanks:)

All I have to say is: Launch MFD :)

No matter where you are, it will give you the time for launch and will constantly update the neccessary heading in order to reach perfect alignment with your target, so you only need to worry about synching and not aligning in orbit.

You'll need to open Map MFD and select ISS as the target, that will overlay the ISS orbital track onto the map. When the ISSbegins to pass over head (use the zoom), light the fires and head out. If the ISS is moving from SW to NE, leave out at approx. heading of 42 degrees, if it's moving from NW to SE it's about 138 degrees. You can tweak this while watching the Align Planes MFD after you've shallowed out your climb to build up escape velocity.
There is also Launch MFD, I use it every now and again, it gives you a crosshair to chase, it's not hard to use, read the docs.
I usually eyeball it watching MAP... Hope this helps, and happy orbiting!

Thanks Guys I am kind of a newbe to launch MFD,I would like to understand it better, can you guys give me a quick rundown on how to use launch mfd to get to the ISS from Wideawake island. thanks for the help.

Personally, I just set the target and that gives me the time until the target orbit intersects mine, after that I just follow the heading indicator. During winged takeoff, it might take a little extra velocity to get the horizontal aspect of the crosshair to be more than 0°, but until then I can still climb and align myself to the correct heading. I also noticed that the crosshair is tied to the vessel's orientation and not the actual trajectory, so you don't need to align the heading indicator (the + sign in the circle), just the nose of the craft and burn.

At least it worked so far for me, I bet there are much more elegant and efficient ways of doing it. :)

I also recommand launch mfd. I use it always when I don't know to the heading.
