These are only a few of my ships that are avaliable from the Rag Tag Fleet forum
All were created using Anim8or for the models, PhotoShop for the textures and Visual C++ 6 or Visual Studio Express C++ 2008 for the DLLs.
Most of these have FTL drive and or Warp Drive, surfaces you can land on, (a first for Orbiter), Missiles or guns that fire and a host of other featu

The Battlestar Galatica as seen in the new Battle Star Galatica TV series.

Battestar Valkyrie K=Deploy/Retract Landing Bays

The Colonial One Presidential Liner as seen in the new Battle Star Galatica TV series. G=Raise/Lower Gear!

My version of the Flatbed or Flattop general purpose ship seen in both the new and old BSG TV series and has features like a deck that you can land on. G=Open/Close Shuttle Bay!

On the right is the BattleStar Galatica from the first TV series and on the left is the BattleStar Galatica from the new TV series. Both have bays you can land in and launch tubes for the Vipers. The old BattleStar can also launch missiles.


The Black Bird Stealth reconnaissance ship as seen in the new Battle Star Galatica TV series.

This is my version of a Cylon Raider converted allow a human pilot. It has guns, missiles and bombs.

This is my version of Colonial Raptor. I call it an Assault Raptor because it is stretched to allow an assault force to be deployed from it.

Viper Mark I from the old BSG TV series. G=Raise Lower Landing Gear!

The Ring ship or Space Park from the new BSG TV series. No Keys!

Ragnar ammunition supply depot seen in the BSG TV mini-series. No Keys!

A Puddle Jumper for StarGate Atlantis converted for Fleet use. It has guns and missiles. See Puddle Jumper.pdf.

The Fireball XL5 from the early 1960s TV series of the same name. G=Raise Lower Landing Gear/Raise Lower Airlock J=Jettison Cockpit K=Release Fireball Junior/Shuttle.


The follwing are orgional designs of mine. Joltin Josie was inspired by the Jedi Fighter seen in the second Star Wars prequel. It sports the nose art of the Joltin Josie bomber from WWII. Orbiter 2006!

The Prototype Viper. This was a Viper that was being developed at the time the Cylons attacked. No Keys So Far!


The "Pieces of Eight" Casino liner. It sports a detailed interior complete with swimming pool.


This ship was inspired by the Mars I from the movie "Red Planet". It is seen here with the Fireball XL5 along side.


The Firefly Sport Model was inspired by the type 3 Firefly Serenity from the TV series "Firefly". It is small fast and a challenge to fly. It's pretty much everything a wealthy sportsman/playboy would want in personal spacecraft.

The Sydney Warp 3 cargo ship was inspired by the "Botany Bay" sleeper ship as seen it the Star Trek TV episode "Space Seed". It features Cargo pods that are ships in and of themselves and powered cargo skids.

K=Shuttlebay Open/Close

Cylon Raider G=Raise/Lower Gear!

That is awesome. thanks. Any idea of what controls or how to operate the FTL drive or Warp Drive? On the Ring Ship or Space Park, hitting Ctl+F12 spools up either the FTL or Warp Drive (not sure which one) but it doesn't jump anywhere.

I looked around on the wayback link that N122VU provided, but I couldn't find the "old" Battlestar. Just 2 versions of the new design. Does anyone know (or have) a link the old girl?


I've found a paper model of something called a "Colonial Defender" that might just wind up in anim8tor in a few months. Along with the Berserk. Both would make excellent additions to the fleet.

I've downloaded all the models from that site to use as references! I do know that the newest Anim8or now supports the 3D printing format .stl! 3D Printing is another source of meshes I'm checking out!

3dwarehouse has a BSG. But it would need some converting and then coded. I would think someone has the BSG original though

Kev Kelcey released a copy of the original Galatica for Orbiter 2006! I wonder if his mesh could updated?

I tried ragtags Battle Stars both the old Galactica and the Valkerie but won't load into Orbiter 2016. They just crash the sim.

Have no idea. I can't find QJBAY_EXHAUST1.dds either.

I've got all Jon's Addons installed and working in Orbiter 2016 just fine! :lol:

No problems with missing meshes or anything else! :tiphat:

That's awesome. Any possibilities of getiing a copy of your add-ons?
