Option 3 won't produce any smoke effect: since with this option the user may put the ramp anywhere smoke effects could have produced non realistic effects. Choose option 1 and then, once launched the scenario, turn the launchpad with the scenario editor

I'm not sure i well understood what the issue is, the countdown is stopped and the launch does not happen? What does the launch window says? Could you post the scenario file that you are running please?

Yeah, you got it right, here's the file.

It's non standard, but I didn't really change anything when I copied the Jarvis out of the standard scenario, and it worked sometimes previously.

Did you press P to start the autopilot?

To have the autopilot automatically running at the scenario opening there must be the line AP 1 in the scenario file and I don't see it, so you need to press P to start the countdown

Yes: the option "launch_site" allows to create ramps easily without boring times creating every single item but once used the scenario is saved and created in the usual way, and in the next run. you'll find everything as saved!

To have the autopilot automatically running at the scenario opening there must be the line AP 1 in the scenario file and I don't see it, so you need to press P to start the countdown

That I did. I did RTFM before starting, but it's just this weird little hitch that's been happening a bit. I'll try using AP 1 and see if it helps.

Because if you simply quit a scenario and reopen a pre-launch scenario it may not work due to the public variable of the autopilot state. You need to close orbiter completely and re open it.

Yeah, what Dave said. I tend to make really dumb mistakes when I code scenarios since I'm not quite used to it yet.

In this case, I just managed to fly the flight, AP 1 did work. I also tested starting a flight, then exiting and restarting without closing orbiter, and the same problem was exhibited. Upon closing it and doing this again, the manual autopilot engaged without an issue. Thanks for the help fred, It seems just for now on I'll add AP 1 to my scenarios using the DLL Jarvis.

Well it seems to me that more than AP 1 the real solution is to quit and reopen orbiter every time you want to make a launch with the jarvis dll. Anyway glad to help

When you were making the Delphinus lifting body, did you use any computational fluid dynamics software?

edit: never mind, it's similar aerodynamics parameters to liber's Dream Chaser add-on, which are actually taken from a spacecraft3 tutorial example.
