Hello hello,
So I had a little idea.
What if we dev a(some) radio chatter pack(s). I was thinking we could easily get as many orbinauts as poss to record a few wav files each, then compile them into an orbiter sound addon pack(s).
For all the near-future tech users out there, of which there are many, I thought it would be great to hear random ATC and radio chatter as we flew, to really give the sense that the world is alive with XR1s and DGIVs.
The beauty of the project is that each wav could be just a few words or even a few sentences. So the actors can go to town and the normal people can add a little bit. Plus the quality can be low and all accents, languages and voices are welcome. So anyone with a mouth and a crappy microphone can join in the fun.
