That's odd. Maybe it wasn't attached. Didn't you accidentaly press Q again and it detached? I've had that problem before.:lol:

The next time press it once only :lol:. Now you can do the other missions. By the way, did you used the 'select ISS and press Ctrl+A' method to attach it to the station? Because for months I wrongly used the Attachment manager MFD.

i just used the umu after docking with the station. grabbed the part i thought was the right one and went to the pma with it. went in the shuttle for a virtual dinner and cam back out and the strela1 was floating out into space:lol:

Well, in the future, you should use the Ctrl+A method, it's the one mencioned on the manual. It tells you if the module or crane or whatever is actualy attached :lol:, but if it worked that way, keep using it.

is there a way to turtn the lights on for the emu? im on space walk but can't see

I don't know if the emu has any lights, but the shuttle should have its lights on. But try to press Ctrl+L or Alt+L with the emu selected.

oh ok. thank you sir. i'll see what happens. im on my second space walk as last night i got strela1 on iss. but im having trouble picking up the otd today.

i was able to get a hold of strela1 but i can't get a hold of otd. what am i missing? im useing the emu? i have tried all the arrows it shows and i can't get it

which end of the otd attaches to the pma on the station? i can't get the thing to attatch

It is attached to the station with the end oposite to the emu, and to the left of the emu (where the red arrow is on the screenshot I posted).

i got the otd to open and do telescopeing. but not attached. i tried that attacthment manger which didn't help either. i hit the Q key. but i lost out into space:lol:
