I remember in an older version of IMFD (4.x or 3.x) under the Orbital section there was something called Orbit Match (OrbM, or something was the MFD button label). Essentially, when activated, it would show you the direction needed to burn to match your target's orbit (Autoburn had been recently introduced and could be used in this mode.) Once an Autoburn was complete, you would have closely match your target's orbit around it's parent body.

In IMFD 5.1m, there is no Orbit Match in the same place. I seem to remember that it may have been replace by something else, perhaps in the Course section.

I'm trying to reach a relative velocity of near 0 in the Sun - Earth L4. I managed to reach this point using the offset feature and CJP's Lagrange MFD, however, I can't seem to null all the velocity vectors needed. My thought is that matching the Earth's orbit (or getting fairly close) should help this endavour considerably.

Does anyone know of a way to replicate the old Orbit Match with IMFD 5.1m?

Ok, I have restored the "Orbit Match" (OvM) match program in Orbital program section. I haven't tested it. But anyway I don't think it will do any good.

At first, I would expect that in the Sun-Earth L4 and L5 points the influence of the Jupiter would be much higher than the influence of the Earth. So, I would not expect to find any stable points there. Sun-Earth L1 and L2 points could be more practical and useful.

InterMFD53c.dll is attached in this post.

Thanks. :)

Wasn't aware that a new version had been relesed. Any significant changes from 5.1 I should be made aware of?
