The 10th law of Moses:
You shall not covet your neighbor house; you shall not covet your neighbor wife, or male or female slave, or ox, or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
Now its his money and legally he can use it for toilet paper if he likes. Think about what you're really saying when you say that you could spend his money better than him.
What would you rather? That he hoards it in a vault where it does nothing? Having somebody else spend their money is almost always good for you.
What if he bought millions of handicrafts from poor areas and lined his house from wall to wall with knick'knacks? Would that make you feel better?
Ain't yours!
