I always drink my coffee black and I was wondering how other people take their coffee.

I take mine with milk, not cream.

Generally black. When the mood strikes, cinnamon and (sometimes) lemon. Cognac if the season and environment fit. Whiskey if necessary.

Bosnian style (i.e. coffee cooked with the water, without filter), usually black (which is not quite bosnian style, they tend to drink more sugar than coffee...)

I do mind, how on earth do you get any sort of caffeine fix out of cola? O.o

Usually black, rarely with milk - milk in coffee makes me sleepy after 3 hours, and I need another one then, sugar only if someone already made it for me with sugar.

Like my women: Liquefied and poured into a mug.

Also with honey.

Although I switched to tea a couple months ago, and a very occasional emergency No-Doz.

I used to drink my coffee black, so black that you can see stars in it... but my stomach one day had a meltdown and I decided to take my caffeine in soft drink form. Everytime I drink coffee now, I am terribly knocked out by my stomach reacting almost allergic to it (And after a long night, it is really tempting to just drink a tiny cup of Espresso)

Coffee is far too bitter, cola isn't.

Yes, cola is sweet and coffee is bitter (when unsweetened), but that wasn't my question - the caffeine level is just so low in soft drinks I can't imagine getting enough out of it to qualify as a fix.

A glass of cola is a fix for about 15 minutes for me (that's more than enough to make a coffee and get it to drinkable temperature :P). Alternative source of caffeine would be energy drinks, and not cola.

Its the combination of sugar and caffeine, that makes the effect. You can also push yourself up on just sugar.

I only drink it for the energy and the taste, there isn't alot of energy but it sure helps wake me up in the morning. :P

I'm wondering if a poll like "what alcohol do you drink?" goes against the forum rules or not.

I would say that, given that alcohol is a legal substance in more countries than it is outlawed, such a poll would be fine.

But inflammatory, like all alcohol-drenched stuff.
