I'm working on a school project, and I need a lot of moon dust (To create a movie for the moon landing.) I wish to make lunar regolith.

Anyone have any pointers? I was thinking powdered cement, but I wish to make it a little more detailed.

Talcum powder has the right consistency. You may be able to darken it using a filter on your lens, lighting tricks, or creative digital editing. Moon soil is really powdery and sticky and packs like talcum powder.

Mythbusters made some dust with similar colour/albedo to lunar soil for their Moon landing hoax episode. It looked good in the pictures. I couldn't find an ingredients list on the web, but perhaps you could write them?

I just did a Google search. Grey talcum powder exists. You might also want to try clay powder out. It may appear to be of similar grain and stickiness that real lunar soil has and it also comes in colors so you can get it in brown, or grey, or red (if you're doing Mars). I've never used Clay powder before but from what I saw online, it looks about right. Maybe there's some crafty people here who've had experience with it.
