Well no, it was the protection on the chests that was messing them up, and it was on my chicken farm.

also the portal to the resource world seems to be broken.

To clarify, If a chest has some form of ownership hoppers will not interact with it, putting items in or taking them out.

The portal is still not working for me.

I've got no idea. It works fine for me, so it's not totally broken. I don't think it's a permissions issue, since the permissions are identical to the survival world portal. I don't think it's a lag issue, since tl8 was able to pillar up into the portal area and still not get teleported.

Anyone else got any ideas?

Could it be a bug with which ever plugin you are using? I'm just clutching at straws though.

Server had some issues today which unfortunately necessitated the restoration to the backup taken at 12am Pacific time this morning.

The following players have most likely been affected by this in some way (missing items from inventory?):
fsci1234
etmoonshade

I am unable to determine if the following player was affected or not, but it's certainly possible:

I have no records of anyone else being affected, but if you've logged on and done stuff any time in the last 21 hours from this post you may have been affected. If you feel that you are missing items or have lost a large amount of work done on the server, please get in touch with me and I'll see what I can do. Manual restoration of specific things may be possible.

I've also updated a few mods (including Multiverse, fingers crossed for the portal working) and updated the server to use CraftBukkit 1.6.2 release version, instead of beta.

The server will be available shortly. Watch this space.

Update: server's back up and seems to be working. Resource world portal still works for me...but that doesn't prove anything since it was working for me before. Would appreciate it if someone else would try Thanks.

Logblock showed approximately 2372 block changes in the time since the backup, and was successfully able to re-do 2371 of them. I have no idea what the last one was, but you're SOL

As always, let me know if you see anything weird, and if you believe you lost more, there's still the possibility of some manual restoration, but I'm not going to start working on that unless people have actually lost stuff.

I tested the Resource world portal still no joy
But the survival one works which i did not test before.

I have no idea why it still is not working

I got the same problem with the ressource world. I just hit the ground, without changing the world.
As Evil_Onyx, the survival world works fine.

If you use vanilla client (i.e. not patched by Forge or MCPatcher), please remember to select version "release 1.6.2" and not "Use Latest Version" in the profile options, to be able to play on this server.
The new release 1.6.3 (and almost immediately following it version 1.6.4), officially launched today isn't (aren't) compatible with 1.6.2 servers.

My colony on the Borderlands is nearing the 1st phase of completion. The only thing stopping me is a lack of advanced materials.
