Both share a common lineage if you go back to 2002 or so. AMSO is a great way to learn about spaceflight and Orbiter using common Orbiter tools. NASSP can be easy if you're well read on mission and procedure you're attempting because of the detail and precision in tools it provides, plus there is a fairly good sized and growing community of experienced users.I beg to differ... Yes, all that nice texturing and shiny stuff look nice, but if you compare to actual hardware NASSP is more accurate.
NASSP all the way! AMSO is the little kids' Apollo sim.
