For now, I'm going to give you a brief explanation.
You can press the F1 button to switch between watching the ship from the outside (like you are now) and being in the inside (so you can see MFDs and stuff).
(When you're inside, try pressing F8 a few times and see what happens!)
You are going to see a few screens in your cockpit, with some buttons on the left and right. Those are the MultiFunctional Displays (MFDs). They also have a couple of buttons under them. You'll notice the PWR (power) button, and the SEL (select) button. The power button does exactly what it sounds like: turns the MFD on and off. The select button changes the mode of the MFD (that's why they're called multifunctional, you know
)
If the MFD is off, press the PWR button to turn it on. If it is already on, then do nothing.
Press the SEL button. Look in the list that appears for the LUA MFD, and press the button next to it. If you can't find it, press the SEL button again for the next page.
