Hello, I'm Tom, I'm 18, from yorkshire. I've been playing orbiter on and off for a while now, but having switched to linux on my cripplingly slow desktop pc, I'm relegated to the realms of hypothetical spaceflight for the near future. (and if there seems to be something weird about any of my posts, my right parenthesis button is on the blink

Thanks guys. Tbh, the parenthesis bit was only there because the vaguely self-referential open parenthetical statement appealed to my sense of humour. It kinda works if I hit it hard enough :) But yeah, hope to get involved here to some degree even if I'm virtually earthbound for the moment :)

As it happens, my 5 year old cousin had me downloading orbiter for him today, which is why I decided to sign up for this forum. I may well get some flying in when it comes to teaching him how to work the DG :) (The learning curve might be a bit steep but he's mainly interested in crashing things at the moment. Still, getting a head-start is good I suppose)

:welcome: to Orbiter-Forum.

:welcome: to the forum! my 6 year old brother tries to have me teach him how to "play" orbiter but he ends up watching tv. I never really try either. The dg is usually the "red triangle."

:welcome: to O-F, and salutations fellow citizen of the United Kingdom!
