OHM Gunperry

Now THIS is an interesting ship. Excellent concept. Maybe design one to get into orbit, then we'd have ourselves a mothership!

You are just cranking out all sorts of ships. You are definitely a talented modeler.

Can I make a request/suggestion? Can you make another 'space station' that is built peice by peice?

I like it as a 3D model. Very creative.

As a realistic craft I might have some comments.
Hovering propellers under center of gravity seems a bit unstable.
Aerodynamics suggests it is a hovering platform to launch ships, not a supersonic carrier to deliver ships to space, and I don't picture it entering atmosphere.

I can enjoy it as a piece of art, so none of those comments may apply.
But if realistic design was in mind, those might be considered for future designs.

Love the show gundam!! so this was a great ship for me thanks alot. Request tho can you make a mobile suit . perhaps the Zaku II it doest need to walk but it does need to make it into space. PS if you can make it walk SWEET

The Gunperry is an atmospheric craft designed to ferry personnel and cargo. It's not meant to enter the atmosphere - that's what Pegasus-class carriers are for.

Slow down, and wait until we have walking UMmus before thinking too big.
Coding a mobile suit for Orbiter would be a massive undertaking (complex animations, insane COG-shifting, not to mention working around all the showstopping physics errors in their original designs...) and I'm fairly sure no one who could pull it off is interested.

If you want to fly a mobile suit, I would suggest a different program, like UCGO (no, not THAT UCGO.)

Or if you don't have the extra money for all that titanium, fuel and slew of main characters to prevent being shot down, a giant paracone would suffice.

...slew of main characters to prevent being shot down...

Oh ho ho! Someone has not been watching their Gundam!

A truly exhaustive video would be like an hour long...

If someone made the White Base, and maybe a Musai, though, that would be rad.

Paracone? The RX-78 has its own folding heatshield, nicely stored in a pocket.
Along with its epic crotch-rocket.

Poor GMs/Zakus have no such thing, though.

EDIT: @Frogisis I know, but you have to admit, the main characters have an uncanny ability to not get hit by things until the plot starts to get dull and someone needs to die again. Also, if Amuro/Char were on your ship, you may as well dive-bomb the enemy base directly, because there's no way you could possibly get blown up.

Well, Amuro doesn't get blown up either because of 1) dumb luck 2) superior engineering on his father's part 3) NewType skills 4) a combination of the three above. Also, he dies in the original novel...

Char gets through because of sheer awesomeness.

And by the way... SIEG ZEON!

Sieg Zeon. :)

Freedom for Spacenoids is just around the corner.

Though I don't think those of us flying around the Earth and Moon in Orbiter should be without these classics of '70s sci-fi:

If I had that time to work on these, though, I'd probably just make myself the Albion:
