I'm also pissed at missing it, but that's life I guess. (I probably would have jinxed it anyway.) Congrats to SpaceX for finally sticking it to the Man. Now build me one I can ride in.

Nope, clock went straight to engine ignition, and liftoff! No aborts, or unexpected holds or anything at least from the start of the webcast about 25 minutes before launch.

This doesn't go all the way through SECO, though.

It looked like there might have been some contact at sep. Also, quite a bit of oscillation right at the end of the video ... Did the webcast go longer than this? Through SECO?

The oscillation would have been attitude realignment. The webcast does briefly drop out about 60 sec before SECO

There was a loss of signal, then they picked it up again right before SECO.

Its amazing how the exhaust doesn't seem to harm the nearby trees. I guess the rocket gets out of the way so quickly.

It's a great thing for Space X! I'm glad they finally got the thing to work. I thought the 1st stage separation was beautiful. That should be something that shows up all over the place, like the staging from the Apollo flights!

Did anyone else start to get concerned about the exhaust cone glowing red...it looked like it was going to disintegrate at one point! The commentator did say that was normal, though. What kind of cooling is on that exhaust cone?
