Vessel Finishing what stevecast Started

Is there anyone here who can help gattispilot in adding additional texture maps to the Nova-class dreadnought mesh?

Here are the additional textures you'll need, originally taken from the Narcissus mesh. The GENDIFF.tex file can go on the cannons and possibly the hangar walls, while the HANGDOOR.tex file goes on the hangar doors. For everything else, including the untextured portion of the lower bow section you can use the GENERICP.tex file.

Front done. And the cannon tubes or whole structure done with GENDIFF.tex. I will done the hangar walls also

redid the dock walls.
so on the cannons is the the tubes blue circle or the whole cannon assembly? red circle and it is with the GENDIFF

Looking better, though there are still some parts that need to be done. Among them are the lower bow structure, the missile launcher caps, turret cylinders, various tube and sphere structures, a set of antennae on the top and bottom of the bow, and a smaller set of aft thrusters, all of which are highlighted in the images below.

The antennae and turret cylinders should use the GENDIFF texture, while the other parts should use the GENERICP texture.

Lastly, there is unfortunately one mesh error that was not picked up until just now, and that's a part of the hangar structure that's facing the wrong way:

So, are you going to add those texture maps anytime soon?

Also, I think you might have uploaded the wrong .zip file there, since the mesh didn't include the corrections that I asked for.

I see you took the time to add the texture maps as I requested. Great job!

At this point, we're nearly finished. There is unfortunately one final mesh error that needs to be fixed, and that's the highlighted areas in the vessel's aft section which are facing the wrong way.

I will fix that. on the top and bottom there are pipes. do they need textured?
