So - a space telescope going to orbit a Lagrange point, launched by a (mostly) reusable rocket - pretty slick

Of course, NASA/ESA/SpaceX can compute these type of trajectories precisely - but its not so hard to "Buck Rogers" it once you're in a usable parking orbit (I guessed the inclination from the NOTMAR hazard area info).

Set up a 3200m/s prograde burn (for ApA ~1.5Gm) in IMFD Course "Delta Velocity" and tweak the start time until you get that nice "eye" shape trajectory in IMFD Map "Plan" (or even a "half-eye" shape is OK)....

Make the burn and then trim velocity post-separation using the LagrangeMFD display........

Two weeks and a few correction burns (toward/away from Sun) and its looking quite good.....
Lagrange MFD 3-view......only used 4kg of fuel so far....

Anyway, good luck to SpaceX and ESA for the launch this afternoon(y)

Cheers,
