Dunkirk(2017)

I think you know the outcome already...

Well, most people also knew the outcome of Titanic, but still dared to watch a 3 hour movie about it....

Also, an operation Sea Lion with Hitler as commander? Never a success - Hitler would have to stop being Hitler for becoming a military commander.

And Operation Sea Lion with Stalin on the other hand......... But wasn't that the plot of "Red Storm Rising"?

Stalin a winner because he let his generals get on with it?(I'm assuming you mean a Stalin character in power in Germany then?)

Sealion as an attempt then failure, would have damaged Hitler politically, but he still had the prestige of defeating France, Belgium, the Low Countries, Denmark.

For Britain, a pyrrhic victory, the Royal Navy would have been severely damaged, and may have lost the Battle of the Atlantic.
Churchill wouldn't have negotiated with Hitler, he may have been ousted, someone who would put in?

Not good in the long term for GB.

Its odd, found this while looking at the reviews of Dunkirk:

Nor sure what to make of it, for reference, this is the "ballet" scene from the original:
