Question Downloaded OFSSv31 and can not run orbiter

Downloaded and installed OFSS_v31 on a fresh version of orbiter 2006 with the needed add-ons. I get this error when loading orbiter on mission 1. ANy help is much much appreciated.

To your problem, it appears the addon your missing is not listed in the required addons. We'll have to add it to the OFSS doc, but in the mean time you can download the missing addon you need here:

Thanks for the welcome! Ive been on here as a guest for a long time off and on. Same with orbiter. Your videos and DG to ISS vid tutorial are awesome. Definitely speeds up the learning curve with orbiter. Between those vids, Dans latest add ons, and the OFSS ive been sucked back into orbiter more hardcore than ever before.

I did download that addon you mention. Mission 2 works for me but mission 1 still fails with this in the log.

That error shows you are missing addons. Add these two and see if it fixes it:

Guys just wondering if i could get some help again. Im crashing again when trying to load mission 4
STS – Artemis + PMA – Tex

Below is the error part of my log file.

Just wondering if this is something thats different in the shuttle fleet add-on as the documentation states 4.1.5 and the version on orbit hangar is 4.2.0.

A missing texture wouldn't cause a crash :nono:, it must be something else in his install, possibly a 0 byte .cfg file ?

Quite a few of us had this problem (myself included). The consensus at the time was to enable every module available at the start-up screen, then it magically started working. I don't think the problem was ever nailed down though...

Check the OFSS discussions (Pilot briefing room maybe??) for more discussion on this.

I add this problem a few days ago. I reinstalled Artemis, and it worked again. Not sure why it worked, but it did for me at least.

I copied that file to textures and the log is now clean and the exe runs to reentry dds. Freezes there and i get
AppName: orbiter.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: orbiter.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000c52aa

I tried reinstalling artemis again as well. TOmorrow when i have time I will do a fresh re install of everything, even though this install of orbiter ive only done OFSS stuff.
