I was just wondering if there was a decent tutorial for getting a capsule from Lunar Orbit into a direct entry on Earth. Right now I am experimenting with Mustard and NoMatter's EAS CTV. Polaris149Tiberius' AMSO tutorial was a great way to learn how to get to lunar orbit, and I've read a few great threads and Tommy and mark316's great XR2 direct tutorial.

It seems like using info gleaned from all the sources still leaves me just short of the knowledge needed to complete my journey, namely good placement, angles, etc. to land. I almost always seem to bounce off, or miss the target completely.

So, any help would be fantastic. Thanks a lot in advance!

Seems to me that you want about a 6 degree Reentry Angle, and 5 to 10 degrees of "forward" tilt. I would think that the default values for ReA and Reentry anticipation should be close for a capsule. Keep in mind that capsules reenter steeper than gliders, and also that the timing of your arrival determines your longitude and will affect your latitude. I'll also recommend the AMSO tutorials.
