Ok... here's my latest. I think I finally got my desktop set up the way I want it...

Oh, yeah... and thanks to Coolhand, Doug and Dr. Schweiger for the wallpaper, even if there was some assembly required. :speakcool:

I think the background behind my desktop cube is a bit boring. Does anybody know an easy way to create a 360x180 degree panoramic image from Orbiter? I think I can make a cube map by using an 1:1 window aspect ratio and 90 degree opening angle, and take 6 screen shots in all directions, but I don't have the software to convert it to a panoramic image. Maybe Blender can do it? I have Blender.

Where did you get that battery monitor thingy?

Wow, just saw this post. Sorry willy88, was away from the forum for about a month there.

That battery monitor/power manager is part of the Lenovo ThinkVantage software Suite. I'm currently on a T60 at work, upgraded about 2 months ago from a T42. Wish I was on one of our T61s, but no dice. :(

Here's mine -- One for each computer. People do say I'm spacy.

The one with orbits shows the orbit of the spacecraft I work on, plus the Iridium x Cosmos debris. On my own machine, it updates once every two minutes.

Notice what time it is. :P

The Europeans won't get what's so special. I myself even have 24 hour time on my watch, and could easily set it up on my desktop.

PS: Your desktop image has a realism problem that isn't immediately obvious (and maybe can be put down to artistic license). Can anyone else see it?
