I'm considering upgrade of my bike. I assumed asking people on my "native" forum won't harm.
I bought it as a cheap bike. I rode it for 3 years, and I feel that the the drive is substantially worn. I could replace the parts with equivalents, but I want to consider an upgrade to the bike to increase its performance.
I want to have more gears for easier riding uphill and easy going along the road at 30 km/h with smooth and responsive gear shifting. I know there's a science behind selecting right transmission numbers in the bike's drive, and I hope someone should know how to do it.
Overall look (but mine is blue):
[TABLE="head"]Name|Value
Wheel ⌀|28"

Rear Derailleur|RD-TY22 SHIMANO Tourney

I'm mostly looking to replace the rear cogset which has worn most, install a 2 or 3-ring front chain ring with a derailleur, and put on a fitting chain.
I'm not going to install a cushion fork yet, for my driving style I'm happy with the rigid one.
Does the idea sound ok to you? Any advices?
