ACTION: Click the "Autoland " button in the VC and watch the arrow de-orbit and land smoothly. You can accelerate the time until close to the base, watch the front screen's display for Autoland data. Don't forget your gear :)
SITUATION: You are in the correct orbit to use the Autoland autopilot. Your orbit passes right over the base, altitude is between 15km and 30km, you are about 1000km away from the base, and your NAV1 is tuned to a cargo XPDR balise's frequency.
COOL: Switch to camera preset (F4>Camera>Preset) when you are near landing area. Use "CTL+ALT+UP" to have a close view of the front windows. (CTL+ALT+DOWN to return to seat)
