Problem CTD when loading old 2006 scenario in 2010

Alright my problem is that my Orbiter crashes when loading a scenario from 2006. I think found all the addons that I have downloaded for Orbiter2006 and re downloaded them and installed to 2010.

Sometimes when loading I get almost in and I hear about a half second of sound before Orbiter crashes to desktop.

I really don't want to load up orbiter2006 just for this one scenario that has my space station in it so any help would be appreciated. Thanks :thumbup:

edit: I also tried loading other scenarios that have the addons used in my 2006 scenario and I did not crash

Sounds like it's a problem with the actual scenario file, are you sure it loads fine in Orbiter 2006 ?

Orbiter has not written anything to the .log file so there is nothing to post from there.

Even a successful launch of orbiter will write SOMETHING to the log file.

I'd suggest deleting everything but one vehicle in your scenario file then adding one at a time until it breaks. That will at least identify the troublesome vessel.

That's where I created it, ill check again to make sure but I just used it last week.

edit: In my tedious task of adding vehicles one by one to the scenario file, I loaded my XR5 that was docked to my (not in the scenario yet) space station with the doors open, the cabin decompressed so I killed all my UMMU's :rofl:

Edit again: Ok guys it seems the spacecraft3 portions of greg's space station building blocks addon is causing the problem, everything else loads fine. The funny thing is that if I load the scenarios that show a sample space station with all the parts on, including the spacecraft3 parts it doesn't crash. I undocked the parts from the scenarios and added them to my own by copy/paste so I am sure that there are no mistakes. Any ideas?

I also retested in orbiter2006 and the same scenario with nothing missing worked fine.

Another edit: Alright now I loaded the scenario with only the spacecraft3 vessel and I did not crash, it seems that another vessel is causing problems, ill try to isolate the two.

What would this be?

Final edit: It seems that a combination between the UniversalRMS, the XR5, and the spacecraft3 vessel is causing the problem, if i take out the xr5 there is no crash but the URMS's are on top of the sun. :lol:
