Hi All, first post here so forgive me if I violate any forums rules or customs.
I did do a search on this one and couldn't find any threads that were helpful so I'll post here.

In AMSO, after splashdown, I always CTD after switching to the recovery helcopter. I can switch to the carrier ok, then press J to bring up the helo, but when I press J to start the rotors, it crashes.

Is this a known bug? Or maybe an interaction with another installed addon?

I don't have any other problems graphics wise or any other game instabilities that I'm aware of.

Can you post the content inside the orbiter.cfg file in your master Orbiter file so that we can see if any obvious errors are present? :tiphat:

Yea Sure. Also, i don't know if this is helpful, but I'm running Orbiter 2010 P1 with the following computer specs:

Windows XP service pack 3
Intel Pentium 4, 3.2GHz
Radeon X600 256mb graphics card
Intel 82801 2GB RAM

Here is my master Orbiter .cfg. Would the orbiter log be helpful as well? Thanks a lot.

Code:

Hi GeneralRipper,

as a general rule you might check if the problem occurs when you disable all other add-ons.
Your activated add-on list is quite impressive ;)
So try with no add-ons first, if it runs, try again enabeling one more...
do this until it crashes. Then you know that it's a incompatible add-on.

If however the crash occurs even with NO add-on enabled, we have at least a reduced "number of suspects".

Thanks Kuddel. I actually already tried that with no success. My next step is to do a separate clean orbiter install with no addons except AMSO, and see if that works.

I know the recovery portion is not important to the flight and it's just a bit of eye candy, but it'd be nice to have it working.
