Compiler setup

Hi Guys

I am have major (the going in circles kind) in setting up the compiler.

I have VC 9.0 and platform SDK 2008.

Can someone give me detailed and step by step instructions to set it up.

I have read the wiki and used the templates, but I just end up nowhere

Go to the RTF forum and look at the Developers Training thread. You'll find two topics on set up and Environments pinned at the top. It may be useful to you. I know it sure helped me out.

Ok I think I have setup the compiler. Now when I try and compile the ShuttlePB I get this errors: http://picasaweb.google.com.au/tl8roy/Orbiter#5285528991966997570

Turn off the "exclude default libraries" (not precise) option.
You'll need to reexclude some libs manually - I cant say which ones, as they are installation dependent. But usually it's msvcirt.lib - you'll have to manually include msvcrt.lib after that.
