Does anyone else find it strange that the National AERONAUTICS and SPACE Administration is working on a bio-diesel project? I don't see the correlation there.
Well, as long as he plans on using this fuel for rockets I think he's fine. But something tells me that's not the case. But that's just me. We really won't know the truth until this investigation is completed to the fullest extent.
At least that might solve some problems here on earth rather than worrying about whether astronauts do travel into space by Soyuz or something that was invented in the USA. Although I love human space flight, such a project might be more of a benefit here on earth than expensive ships in orbit. But I also think that this actually is not the job of NASA.

Not at all. Bio-fuel is also used in jets as well as diesel engines. NASA's job is to help develop technology for use by the American aerospace industry.
There was a recent story about the USAF flying jets with bio-fuel.
