Building an orbiter computer

Building a new computer

Two days past the necropost warning, thought this was still relevant.

Someone gave me a Dell Inspiron 2650 with 128 MB of Ram and 16 MB of video. I need something more. I'm selling my truck to build something better.

Anyway, Orbiter should run acceptably (read 'gloriously') well on this machine when it's made. Very slick. :)

Well sadly I haven't got the money at the moment, I need to get an internship or something first :(

That's why I'm selling my truck.

Already found a buyer. I need to make a couple of repairs and clean it up first. I could buy a decent machine on craigslist for ~$350, but it wouldn't be an i7 quad, and probably wouldn't be sli compatible. I'll buy a second video card in six months and replace the truck before next winter. I haven't rode a bicycle in 5 years. I used to ride one from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro just for kicks. I put $10.00 in the tank yesterday and got 2.48 gal of fuel in return.
