I actually had a bit of free time recently and decided to jump back into the HD. Nothing spectacular, just doing some additions based on P1 :)

I spent hours trying to get them to work, nothing I did helped. then I realized that local lights were turned off in the launcher options...

So now they work, they are automatic based on the bay doors. I also added lights for the OMS and Main engines. the local lights are a great addition to Orbiter!

If you run out of panel switches for testing new ideas, I can really recommend you to look at the Lua interface API, being able to use the Lua console for triggering actions that have no switches yet in a cockpit is pretty nice... just like being able to debug subsystems easier.

The local lights are a nice eye candy feature, but the Lua stuff is what really makes P1 fun.
