kerbal blue moon.

So use the bent forward guy. arms where they are. 4 different guys. solid red, broken red, no red. But that is 3 different guys

Confused. Arms: I can leave where they are or moved them so the arms are like the UMMU. Arms forward and closer to the center.

What should be the colors break down for the EVa guys

the guy on post 393 is perfect, just a little lean forward that will also work during flight ops.
solid red, candy cane, no stripe and broken red line " see post 391

Sorry for the OT, but since we are discussing wild lander designs...

I knew it was proposed but never thought someone actually built a mockup.
Notice that there seems to be a rope to help climbing out of the hatch.

But this one is my favourite. No ladder, just hand/foot supports:

The guy in post 393 is perfect.

I came across this book a few years ago and it had all kinds of odd ideas for Moon Landers and rovers. It even showed a winged Apollo landing on Earth

I am testing ALPACA in a Lunar orbit and came across this , the port side tank is blacked out. well won't let me post the pic

I don't think it's a shadow....that's the 180-degree mirror copy of the tank that came out in Blender weeks ago. I don't know why the whole mesh became dark when I made it before

I can do this:

I might need someone to look at the code to fix the sideways movement. We get forward, backwards and rotate.

Now all 4

. They move forward/back ok. rotation may need some work. And side to side does. I know why because the heading isn't calculated into the equation.
I can share the code for the guys if someone want to take a look

Can someone test this eva guy? Movement is like UMMU 1/3 rotate and 8/2 forward backward on the keypad. 4/6 side to side still need work. Mainly checking on the rotation speed.

Should have everything:

So can someone test this guy. Thanks to kuddel, the side movement works. Ideally a cfg with different meshes would be good. Not sure on the code for it though.
The guy is at Brighton Beach. Checking for movement issues. keypad controls the guy 1/3 rotate,8/2 straight,4/6 sideways
