This is looking REAL good!

WHere do you want the meshes+textures sent?Fine. Now I just have to light the fuse of this fireworks rocket.

Don't think so.Do you have my email address?
According to Ares 1X presskit: 10 kN.Package received, just working on the fireworks, but I am pretty tired, I don't expect to do much progress today.
Does somebody know the vacuum thrust of the ROCS thrusters?
Thank you! Have read over the presskit 3 times, without finding the number, and also had two NASA presentations which talked a lot where the ROCS system was from...

Maybe I am wrong there, but shouldn't the separation plane be at the lower end of the Frustrum, instead of the upper end?

OK. I must have missed this when I made the meshes. How far away are you from completing the module?Yes, but according to presskit, the separation plane is below the frustrum, so the nosecap of the forward extension is not blocked - in the meshes, the separation plane is at the top of the frustrum.

A roll program is needed as well as Ares 1X will execute a 90° roll manuever at T+6 seconds so it heads due east.About 8 hours.
- The basic definition stuff of the vessel is done, plan to have a running module with correct visual in about two hours.
- I still search for aerodynamic data, would be useful.
- Autopilot stuff is still missing, will get copied, either from SSU or from the SDHLV110 project on my HD, since only a pitch program is needed.
- MLP interface will be suitable for using SSU launch pad and crawler.
