Whatever happened to the Archangel program--the manned transcontinental-capable suborbital spaceplane project?

If I remember right ( you're talking about the add on ? ) it became the XR-2 RavenStar. There's a thread for it in Add on Development.

Unless they merged their projects and I missed it, I believe the Archangel project was something not related to the XR series of vessels. I was very much interested in it when it had a thread on M6, but after that died it feels like Archangel went down with the ship.

Having just completed a transcontinental suborbital hop in a DG a few moments ago, I was also wondering about this project. Strange, isn't it?

No, it wasn't part of the XR series. The Archangel was to use realistic petroleum/LOX engines and ISP, with expendable solid boosters for transatlantic hops.

Unlike the Vespucci D replacement it has died with M6, and as yet neither of the developers have joined here (removed attempted joke)

I think joshb has transferred here. Not sure about the state of the project though.

It's been three more months now. Is this project dead for sure?
