I am unable to get the AMSO virtual cockpit view showing the targeting rectical. Furthermore, when I switch from the glass cockpit to the virtual cockpit (by pressing F8) the only view I get is that of the middle seated astronaut in the CSM. I have tried using [CTRL + ALT + up] but it does not work - I have also tried other combinations with no results. Anyone have a suggestion as to how to get the left hand seat view so that I am able to use the rectical to dock?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's strange. Have you tried navigating around other cockpits such as the DG or Atlantis?
Try CTRL+ALT+Left and CTRL+ALT+Right to see if they work or not.
Are you on a laptop? If so, it may have hotkeys configured that CTRL-ALT-Arrow keys flip the screen left, right, inverted, and normal. If this is the case, you will need to disable the hotkeys before you can use the virtual cockpit commands in Orbiter.
