Hello,

this is just a (very) tiny Add-On that - in my opinion - makes AMSO look a bitsome more realistic (biggest changes on launchpad).
Requires (of course) AMSO.
I also give ALL crerdits to the AMSO-developer!
Update from 10.03.2011, 3:30 GMT: Some moree Textures are changed, more parts of the PAD-texture are changed.
As Loru wished I now removed the Bitmap-screenshot and only have a JPEG.
since 22.05.2011 - 14:10 GMT: some more textures are changed now

Greetings, HAL9001

color values, sharpen, blur, etc
that's why I give all credits to the original-developer: It's just a changed Version.
wich textures where changed?:
look in the Textures-folder - I only included the changed ones. But well, some are only slightly changed, mainly I changed launch-Pad, exhaust and gold-doil.

---------- Post added at 22:04 ---------- Previous post was at 21:53 ----------

I'll upgrade it tomorrow by editing some more exhausts and further editing launch-pad...

well, I think the launch tower looks much less like in a concept-anmation (I mean one of this kind: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa-w6M5UR5U"]YouTube - NASA cruise efficient STOL aircraft concept[/ame]) and more like in Apollo-13-movie.
The panel is less black-white and the exhaust looks a bitsome more like fire.

Gantry Retracted

Hi,
The gantry is already retracted when Orbiter starts. How do you open it all the way up and then retract it at the right moment? I assume pressing G will retract, but how do you open it?

"J" doesn't work for me. Do I have to have something as the target focus? Please pardon my ignorance. I need help understanding all the steps involved-- starting with opening the scenario with the Saturn V on the launchpad.

Pretty sure the procedure is start scenario -> press J -> press k (at the appropriate times of course. :))

Nope- not happening for me. Let's try this. I am running Cape Canaveral Base, with AMSo, with the Saturn V on the launchpad. Here my configuration:
AS-503_LaunchTower:AMSO\LaunchTower
STATUS Landed Earth
BASE Cape Canaveral:2
POS -80.6041300 28.6085110
HEADING 270.00
AFCMODE 7
PRPLEVEL 0:1.000000
THLEVEL 0:1.000000
NAVFREQ 0 0
LSTCMD 8
GENVAP 3
GENSMO 0
LSTSIM 0.394174
SMKSTA 4170.922775
THRUST 0.000000
CRANAN 1.000000
ARMS1A 1.000000
ARMS2A 1.000000
HOLDSA 1.000000
CAPSA 1.000000
VAPTIM 1.000000
END

Any ideas as to why the gantry starts unopened and doesn't move at all?

By the way, if I press J, then the Payload on the Saturn V (EDS, CEV, Altair) are jettisoned.
